Training is the essential finishing touch on automation and instrumentation systems. A small investment ensures that dredger crews are competent, confident and fully up to date with the latest technologies and the equipment they work with.
IHC Systems provides courses and trainings on its systems, sometimes included in deliveries as a standard, or on request. Trainings can be provided in a standard way, or customised: either inhouse with the client, on board of the ship, or at our premises in Sliedrecht as well. In the latter case, the benefits of having three fully operational trainingssimulators for CSDs, TSHDs and Excavators can be added to the other educational means.
The level of training can vary from technical and maintenance courses, over extended equipment trainings to specialised dredging training, tailored to customer's needs. Extended courses are perfomed in cooperation with IHC Merwede's Training Institute for Dredging (TID).
A special IHC Systems' training is the course on the radioactive density measurement which provides a Dutch certificate on authorized use of this instrument on board. The certificate is obligatory according to Dutch authorities.
Our expertise in organising and executing training programmes allows us to advise clients in their choice and set-up of a suitable training programme. Please contact our Sales & Estimation staff.
