Successfully commissioning and testing of AXC

IHC Systems is in the process of successfully commissioning and testing the world's first high-tech, artificial-intelligence-based Automatic eXcavator Controller (AXC) on a mighty Liebherr 995 machine, the MP40, owned by the Josef Möbius Bau-Aktiengesellschaft in Germany. This automated system allows excavators to cut a pre-defined profile from a given area and to load the excavated material into barges, precisely and automatically – just like a CNC machine cuts shapes from metal. The aim is to boost production figures in homogenous soil types. Watch the 2-minute movie or read the in-depth article.
