IHC Systems Excavator Simulator goes into operation

 

On 27 May 2010, Fer Tummers, the director of IHC Engineering Services, launched the recently installed Excavator Simulator.  IHC Systems' simulator room is now fully tailored to the training of operators of all kinds of dredgers. The simulator includes the automatic excavator controller (AXC). This automation allows excavators to cut a pre-defined profile from a given area and to load the excavated material into barges, precisely and automatically – just like a CNC machine cuts shapes from metal.
