IHC Systems commissions 300 bar testing vessel

 

On 27 May 2010, Jan Willem van Bloois, the Manager of IHC Merwede’s Deep Sea Dredging & Mining Department, officially launched the new IHC Systems high-pressure testing vessel. It is designed to test instrumentation and control equipment for waterdepths of approximately 3000 metres. The investment fits in IHC Merwede's deep sea strategy.  The high-pressure vessel with a diameter of 750 mm and a working height of 1500 mm, was designed to manage 45 MPa and it was tested up to 35 MPa. It will usually be used for pressures up to about 30 MPa. Of course, the vessel will also be rented out to other IHC units and external clients. Info...

Type approval on DPDT systems prolonged

IHC Systems obtained prolongation of type approval for its DPDT systems until 2015. The certificate was granted by Bureau Veritas.[more]
