After a long procedure in close concert with Consolidated Gulf Co. in Qatar and Getronics in The Netherlands, IHC Systems has won the tender for a Digital SBM Shutdown System for Qatar Petroleum (QP).The order, with an amount running in the six digit numbers, has a project execution time of more than 6 months. The TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) system will be installed on unmanned Halul Island to serve the SBM installation Comprising delivery, installation, commissioning, training and documentation the execution of the project will draw sizable labour recourses of the involved parties.
