Starting October 1st 2005, IHC Systems has created a permanent assistance and service unit in Dubai. In Dubai a highly experienced and reliable service engineer will deliver any electric- and electronic service to keep our IHC Systems delivered equipment running, and beyond. “Be where your customer operates”, a famous marketing saying. A demanding need for infrastructure for tourism and leisure keeps our local and international customers quite occupied -now and tomorrow- in the UAE region, so IHC Systems decided to be around the corner in the region itself.


After one month in the air we can simply conclude things develop as expected, it is obvious that the presence of our engineer satisfies a customer’s demand.
We are happy to inform our clients that our engineer can react very swiftly and independently from the back-office in the Netherlands through a direct access to the databases with drawings and information of delivered equipment. Moreover, most required spares for repair and all calibrating instruments are present at our unit in Dubai.

It is important to realize that besides solving direct problems, it is also possible to prevent problems in the future if our engineer is invited for other activities such as preventive maintenance to:

  • Adjust density and velocity measurement systems;
  • Calibrate velocity measurement equipment by using a calibration tool;
  • Inspection of suction tube cabling and sensors;
  • Inspection of RA sources;
  • Assistance with the change-over of liners;
  • Calibrate suction tube positioning sensors;
  • Measure network quality of PLC networks;
  • Calibrate draught sensors;
  • Advise regarding purchase most necessary spare parts;
  • Etc. Etc.


Proposals, invoicing and administration, will be handled through the back-office in the Netherlands efficiently, because of the direct information given by Dubai, regardless the time difference.
