Dredge Track Presentation System-ECS
IHC Systems is pleased to announce that, in cooperation with SevenC's, the Electronic Chart System (ECS) is now available and can be ordered as an option in our Dredge Track Presentation System (DTPS) software. All other functions of the DTPS remain active such as multiple DTM presentations, ship and track visualisation etcetera.
The ECS option is activated through a license code renewal. The license code also unlocks the various ordered chart format modules such as

Direct ENC (SevenC's)
EC2007 S57 / S63 Import
VPF Import
VMAP
LWD
AML
Inland
BSB
ARCS

Charts have to be ordered separately by SevenC's subsidiary company "ChartWorld". The ECS option is available from version 1.1.19.0 (March 2005). Users having an older version must upgrade first before the option can be applied. Users having a software license contract can order and apply the option directly.

Radio Telemetry Transceivers
At this moment the new high performance type of UHF radio telemetry transceiver is available.
The new EDLII transceiver will work full duplex and has a higher classification (IEC 60529 / IP 67 Water Proof / Dust proof). In some cases we can supply an optional intrinsic safe (ANSI/UL 1604) version.
The transceiver can also be used in old existing telemetry chains which uses one of the standard Transparent, Packet switched, Digipeater protocols.
This model transceiver is type accepted and certified for operation in the U.S. Canada, Europe & China.

Dredge Fleet Monitoring System
The Dredge Fleet Monitoring System (DFMS) is based on our extended Dredge Track Presentation System (DTPS). Each dredge tool (Dredger/Survey vessel) is equipped standard with DTPS and shows on-line the activity of the dredge process in the area. By dedicated telemetry link it is possible to show up to a maximum of 10 vessels at one specific central control location. Depending on the type of link (AIS, Full Duplex Transceivers or other) real time positioning on ECS maps is provided and extended reporting facilities are available.
