Dedicated to Efficient Dredging as IHC Systems employees are, they realize how our customers are in the need of carefully planning dredging operations, online verification of dredging and confirmation of the quality of their work once they are ready. These are essential tools in optimising dredging operations, irrespective the kind of dredger applied. Close co-operation with several contractors has led to the development of systems that fulfil these requirements.

They comprise systems and packages that allow our customers to:

• Exactly determine where to dredge and to forecast amounts of material
• Present dedicated Digital Terrain Model and Bathymetric charts in which the dredger can be drawn online
• Online update chart data during dredging
• Deliver proof of performance afterwards and a basis for payment

Such purposes are served by a wealth of products and systems, starting with gyrocompasses, echo sounders, tidal transmitters, DGPS systems and other positioning finding systems, continuing with Dredge Track Presentation System processing packages, suitable for operation onboard of survey boats and dredgers, and ending with totally equipped survey boats and special products such as multi-channel telemetry systems, sonars, sub bottom profilers, etc. Simulation and training of crew and operational staff could easily be done with assistance of the processing packages themselves in downtime.
